NEW TO SELMA DOTHAN?
Everything you need to know to plan your first visit
Visiting a church can be overwhelming. We get it. This page has everything you need to know about our church, what to expect, and where to go once you arrive on Sunday. We can’t wait to meet you!
WHAT WILL CHURCH BE LIKE?
The service experience at Selma Dothan includes music and a message. The music is led by our worship leader along with a live band.
The message addresses real issues that real people face every day as well as solid biblical teaching. You can expect to be both encouraged and challenged by our pastors.
Each Sunday service lasts for approximately 70 minutes. You will find a friendly environment where everyone is welcomed!
HOW EARLY SHOULD I GET THERE?
Our Connect groups start at 9:10am and the service starts at 10:30am.
When attending for the first time plan on arriving at least 10 minutes before the service starts.
This will give you time to park and grab a cup of coffee before the service begins. You’ll want to make sure you get into the sanctuary before the music starts.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
We dress very casually around here. Some people wear a tie and others jeans. Feel free to come as you are.
WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?
Our Kids Ministry is designed for children from birth through fifth grade. Your child experiences age-appropriate teaching, music and fun activities designed to introduce them to a life-changing journey to follow Jesus Christ. Our Kids Ministry is led by staff and volunteers who will be there each week to care for and love on your child. Your children will join you for worship in the Sanctuary and then be dismissed to Kids Church before our teaching begins. By the way, we utilize a check-in system that ensures a safe environment for your child and also allows for efficient drop-off and pick-up for parents.
