Thank you for taking the time to get a quick glimpse into the life of Selma Baptist Church of Dothan, Alabama. We hope that as you scan these pages, you will begin to see the heart of a church that is passionate about our Lord and His loving legacy. It is our desire to ignite that passion in every member of our church family, and to convey that passion to every guest who enters our time of worship.
The apostle Paul wrote to a young church in Rome that was struggling to break free from the influence of their culture and what he said is the driving force of Selma Baptist. “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds.” Selma is a diverse group of Christ followers that is committed to making a Transformational impact on the world in which God has called and commissioned us to Love and Minister. That commitment includes the community and city where God has planted Selma and reaches to the continents of South America, Africa, and wherever God leads. Through our Love for God, and our Love for one another, we are intentional about ministering to both the physical and spiritual needs of the hurting.
